Why you don't need a therapist...
The moment I decided it didn’t matter if I could “afford” a therapist to help work through not only my grief but all the trauma, was the moment I not only changed our lives, but the limiting belief within myself, that wellness, be it mental, physical, or even spiritual, was only awarded to those who could “afford” it.
You don’t need a therapist- YEP I SAID IT.
You want to be free of mental “blocks”, work through grief, figure out why you feel like you need to start that nonprofit?
WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO BE INTENTIONAL WITH UNDERSTANDING?
ARE YOU BEING RESOURCEFUL?
ARE YOU REALLY LISTENING & SURROUNDING YOURSELF TO & WITH PEOPLE THAT HAVE DONE IT ALREADY?
WHERE ARE YOU LOOKING FOR THEM?
There are so many resources available to you right at this moment. The moment you choose to pursue them is the moment you change the trajectory or your process.
Why wait? Why wallow in the misery?
Take back your life and find some beauty in it again.
I know this sounds like tough love, and in a way it is. Not because that’s the angle I planned on. I just get so fired up because I realize how much time I wasted putting off my own healing.
